Neutrogena Light Therapy Acne Mask - 10 Day Check In

Hey guys.! Todays post will be a little different. Last month I was sent the Neutrogena Light Therapy Acne Mask from PinchMe to try out for free. It's a 30 day skin treatment that is supposed to help clear your skin up with 10 minute daily light therapy treatments. I wanted to do 3 posts for this, one at 10 days, one at 20, and then a full review at the end of the 30 days. My 10 and 20 day posts will mostly be "progress" trackers, with photos of my included, and some quick ideas of what I'm thinking so far.

A little bit about the product: It is chemical and UV free. The mask works by using blue lights to target acne causing bacteria, and using red lights to reduce acne inflammation. Each mask package includes a mask, and a 30 day activator. After you've used up your 30 days, you're supposed to toss that activator and buy another if you want to continue using the mask. Personally, this is incredibly wasteful and can be expensive, as each activator is about $15. You just wash your face as normal, and then use the mask for 10 minutes. It has an automatic shut off, so you're able to sit back and relax without worrying about keeping track of the time.

Left photo is one side of my face at the beginning of using the treatments, before ever using the mask
Right photo is the same side of my face 10 days in, a few hours after using the mask.

Left photo is, again, my face before using ever using the mask. Right is a few hours after using it for my 10th day.

My biggest problem area right now is my chin. Top photo is before I started mask treatments, and bottom was after my 10th day.

Honestly, I don't see major progress at all. But, It's also only been 10 days, so I hope it improves more soon. My fiance keeps saying my skin looks clearer, but honestly, it has only felt dry to me recently. So, we shall definitely see.

Bonus picture: How creepy this mask looks on when you're using.! haha

I received the reviewed product for free, in exchange for my complete honest opinion. I do not receive any profit from any links I include in this post, and all photos included are mine unless stated otherwise. Thanks.! :)
