Not Your Mother's Clean Freak Dry Shampoo

Rated: 4/5.!

I received this Not Your Mother's Clean Freak Dry Shampoo in the Twinkle VoxBox from Influenster, and I am really impressed.! I haven't used dry shampoo in years, but this stuff really works well.! It does leave a white tint to my dark hair if I spray it on incredibly heavy before working it through, but generally it isn't too bad. I find that it does absorb a lot of oil though and helps me cut down on frequent hair washings now.! It also doesn't have a super strong scent, which is nice, because some brands have such a strong smell I can't stand it.

Here are the bags I've received so far in 2017.! I haven't posted any unboxing videos for them, but I do have all inclusive photos for once, haha.!

Ipsy Bag Round Up 2016

I just wanted to post a quick view of all my Ipsy bags I received in 2016, and I'll be doing a separate post for the ones I've gotten so far in 2017.! I haven't been filming unboxings for these too much recently due to phone issues, so I know there's quite a few I've received and they never got posted here. This should help explain where some of my products I review are coming from.! I plan to start doing more compilations of my mail call posts I do over on my Instagram that show what other freebies I've been receiving, because not all of them always make their way over here for a review.!

August:

Here is my first Ipsy bag I received. I apparently never took a photo of this, but I know I've done an uboxing which can be found HERE. I wanted to include this despite not having a photo since obviously, this was a bag I received last year.!

 September:

I again apparently lacked to take a photo of this one. Eek. This one also has an unboxing video though, watch it HERE.!

 October:

Go figure I got a photo of the actual bag this month.. But not the contents.! Watch the unboxing video HERE.!

 November:

No unboxing video this month, but this bag did include some great goodies.!

December:

I did do an unboxing video for the last bag of 2016, but in general this bag was a huge win.! Check out the unboxing HERE.!

Suave Honey Infusion Strengthening Shampoo, Conditioner, and Leave-In Conditioner

Rated: 4/5.!

A few weeks ago Crowdtap sent me Suave's new Suave Honey Infusion Strengthening Shampoo, Conditioner, and Leave-In Conditioner to try out.! I have previously used another brands honey line and really enjoyed it, so I was excited to try out Suave's version. I like the shampoo and conditioner, they work well. They lather up really nicely without needing a ton to wash my hair, which is great. The leave in conditioner is nice too, but I personally don't love leave in conditioners (I hate the application process.!) and they always make my hair feel dirty too quick for my liking. Over all, I really like this stuff, and so does my husband. He's been using it, and as much as he thinks he's being sneaky, he's failing because the smell is very clear and obvious.! Lol.!

Black Acrylic Jewelled Flesh Tunnel

Rated: 5/5.!

I am finally back with my second review from when I partnered up with BodyJewelleryShop.com recently.! If you'd like to see the review I did before this on my silicone plugs I received, check that out here.
Okay so this week I've been wearing the Black Acrylic Jewelled Flesh Tunnels in Crystal (I also have these in Purple.!) and honestly, I love them.! These were super easy to put in thanks to their screw off back, which btw, was a nice sturdy piece. I've had a pair of plugs like these before from another company, and the piece that screws on as a back totally crumbled in my hand after a few wears, not to mention a few jewels would always fall out. I see no signs of this set doing that.! These have held up to every day wear so well.! As you can tell in the photo, the jewels catch light in such a pretty and neat way. It makes it hard to get a good photo of them, honestly.! They're always so shiny.!
And just like with the other pair, I don't have any earrings in my second ear piercing currently, but if I did have something in, these plugs aren't too big to interfere with the other piercing at all.
Make sure you check out some of Body Jewellery Shop's other Ear Piercing jewelry or their other body jewelry selections.! I've been super impressed with the quality and variety of their items so far, so I definitely recommend them if you're looking for some new jewelry.!

Ultra-Thin Silicone Eyelet Plugs

Rated: 5/5.!

Recently I partnered up with BodyJewelleryShop.com to do some reviews in exchange for a few pairs of plugs. I was sooo excited about this opportunity, and today I'm here with a review of the first pair from my order that I've been wearing all week.! These are the Ultra-Thin Silicone Eyelets in the color purple. I've always preferred these style and material of plugs because they're flexible and way more comfortable for long term wear. This pair has definitely supported that.! These were stupidly easy to pop into my ear piercing, which has been stretched to a 4g for a good while now, and it's like they're not even there. These are so lightweight and comfortable when you're wearing them. I don't even notice them most of the time, so I keep catching myself feeling to make sure they're still in there, lol.! (No issues with them popping out on their own either so far.!) As you can see, I don't have any earring in my second ear piercing currently, but even if I had something in, these plugs aren't too wide to interfere with the other piercing. These have been a dream to wear this week, and I'll be swapping them out tonight with another pair I received, so look for that review some time soon.! Make sure you check out some of Body Jewellery Shop's other Ear Piercing jewelry or their other body jewelry selections.! I've been super impressed with the quality and variety of their items so far, so I definitely recommend them if you're looking for some new jewelry.!

Listerine Total Care Zero Anticavity Mouthwash

Rated: 4/5.!

Recently I got a sample bottle of the Listerine Total Care Zero Anticavity Mouthwash in flavor Fresh Mint from Crowdtap.! I'm not gonna lie, at first, I was pretty freaked out to try this mouthwash after seeing some reviews of it. They're not pretty, folks.! But, now that I've had it and used it a few times, I'm not sure what everyone is freaking out about. Granted, they very well could of adjusted the formula to fix what everyone is having problems with, but either way, I've had a good experience overall with this mouthwash. I love how much easier on my mouth it is than others due to it not having any alcohol in the formula. There's no intense burn or weird tingling like some brands can have. Not to mention that I 100% believe in their claims of this mouthwash helping restore enamel and strengthen your teeth. Before I received this sample in, I was having some bad sensitivity in my front teeth (which is not something I've really had before) and they were starting to look a little.. well, see through, at the bottom. Freaked. Me. Out.! After just two days of using this mouthwash, the sensitivity in not only my front teeth, but some of my other teeth that I know aren't in the best shape, has pretty much completely gone away and they don't look nearly as see through any more. I'm going to be using this mouthwash until the bottle is empty if it's really helping my teeth this much.!

Jersey Shore Cosmetics Peppermint Moisture Rich Hydrating Balm

Rated: 5/5.!

In my Ipsy bag this month, I received this Jersey Shore Cosmetics Peppermint Moisture Rich Hydrating Balm (boy that's a mouth full..) I was SUPER unsure of it at first, because I usually hate peppermint products, flavors, scents, etc. It's just not my thing. But... Go figure, I LOVE THIS STUFF.! It's so great.! It goes on so smooth and makes my lips soooo soft. It does definitely smell like Peppermint, but the scent doesn't linger around too terribly long once applied, and I've yet to pick up on any real flavor from it. I mean, this is my new go-to chapstick for sure. My lips haven't been this soft in years, and I can't stop applying it because I love the scent.! Seriously y'all, go freaking figure, haha.!

Robitussin 12 Hour Cough Relief: Grape Flavor

Rated: 4/5.!

Another great Robitussin product that saved my husband this month.? The 12 Hour Cough Relief medicine that I got thanks to Crowdtap. Though the flavor Grape was NOT good tasting (he complained it left a mucusy flavor and taste in his mouth, can't speak on if the Orange flavor is any better) it still worked great. It kicked in fairly quickly like the Cough+Chest Congestion formula did, and one full dose lasted him all day. We still have a good bit of the bottle left too, just incase one of us develops another cough soon.!

Robitussin Cough+Chest Congestion DM

Rated: 5/5.!

Thanks to Crowdtap  and Robitussin's Cough+Chest Congestion DM medicine, my husband was able to get through his work days recently without trying to cover up a bad dry cough.! We've had some crazy weather here recently, and with that, a lot of stuffy noses and coughs going on. My poor husband was coughing like crazy until I decided to give him a dose of this stuff, and within minutes his cough was silent.! He told me that this had a really good flavor, which made getting him to take it so much easier, haha. It suppressed his cough for a good while, just needing one dose to get him through work without any problems. I'm very impressed.! The bottle didn't last long at all though. I was giving him the recommended adult dose, and the bottle only lasted about 4 days (with two doses a day, though I didn't give him that many every time.) Otherwise, with how well this works, it'll definitely be the first cough medicine I reach for now anytime I'm in need.!

Ciaté London Liquid Velvet Matte Liquid Lipstick in Pin Up

Rated: 4/5.!

This was not the easiest to get a nice photo of, so do please excuse that picture.! But I've gotta tell y'all about my new favorite, go-to lipstick. I am seriously in loooooove with this stuff that I got in my Ipsy bag.! This is the Ciaté London Liquid Velvet Matte Liquid Lipstick in color Pin Up. It's a super gorgeous berry-purple like color, and it's ridiculously flattering on my skin tone. Though it is a liquid lipstick, it's very matte, but not too drying. My ONLY complaint with this lipstick is how horribly it transfers.! Which is honestly funny because you can't tell at all that it's coming off. My lips will still look perfect even after several kisses on my husband (which completely comes off on him), drinking from a cup, and eating food. It'll transfer off on to EVERYTHING, but you totally can't tell on my lips.! My mother in law made a comment about it because she noticed how much came off on a napkin at Christmas dinner, but how good it still looked on. I've worn this stuff several times now and I'm still impressed with it. Absolutely in love.!

NYX Professional Makeup Prismatic Shadow in FIREBALL

Rated: 4/5.!

Another Ipsy product I wasn't sure how I'd feel about, that took me by surprise, was this NYX eyeshadow in the color Fireball. The color is a pretty copper tone, though a little orange for my taste. It goes on really smooth and VERY pigmented, and blends out fairly easy. I've actually been wearing this one a lot recently because it's just so easy to put on, and it matches nicely with my new favorite lipstick. I'll definitely be looking into some other colors from this line soon.!

Hey Honey Good Morning Honey Silk Facial Serum

Rated: 5/5.!

I got this "Hey Honey" Good Morning Honey Silk Facial Serum in my November Ipsy bag, and honestly, I was shocked.! At first when I saw it in my item line up I was NOT excited at all. "Uhg, Another moisturizer I can't use" was my first thoughts, and I was ready to just toss it aside. Then when it actually came in, I read the bottle a little more, and decided to give it a try anyways. I'm sooo glad I did.! This stuff is NOT your normal moisturizer. I can't use your typical moisturizer because I have super oily skin naturally, and all moisturizers make it a million times worse. The Hey Honey serum can be used as a moisturizer, primer, and base for your full face of makeup.! I don't use full face makeup, but I love how easily this stuff just rubs in to your skin. It absorbs quickly, doesn't leave me looking greasy, and although it does give me a bit of "shine", it isn't awful at all. I love this stuff.! I use it as a base for my eyeshadow, and it's my new go-to daily moisturizer because it's so perfect for my skin. Absolute win for Ipsy on this one.!

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara

Rated: 4/5.!

In one of my previous Ipsy bags I received a sample of the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. I hear looots of people swear by this stuff, so I was excited to try it out, though I also see a lot of negative reviews about the wand. I couldn't wait to try it for myself.! Over all, I like the mascara. I've started using it as my daily, though it gives me kind of mixed results every time I use it. As you can see in the photo below, one eye came out much thicker and fuller while the other is thin, though long, so it's more natural looking.! I'm not sure what's causing the mixed results other than the possibility of it just being because of my natural lashes. Unfortunately with this mascara, you can NOT go back and add to it once it's sat for a few minutes. It dries quickly, so if you go back over it, it comes out clumpy and "spiderleg" looking. So I was stuck with one full set of lashes due to that. Some days I've managed to make them match though, and when I'm able to do it, I love this mascara.! It's just unfortunately hit or miss a lot for me.

L'Oréal Paris Purify & Mattify Pure-Clay Mask

Rated: 4/5.!

Broke out my final face mask from the trio I received from BzzAgent to pamper my tired face after a long, fun weekend with family.! The one I used today was the L'Oréal Paris Purify & Mattify Pure-Clay Mask, and much like the other three, I was very impressed.! It smelled quite nice thanks to the eucalyptus in it, and was immediately very cool on my skin. It seemed like a thicker mask than the other two, but it dried just as tight and matte as the others had. In fact, I personally think this one felt even tighter than the charcoal mask did.! It had a bit of a tingly sensation at first, similar to the others, but it didn't last once it was drying down. It wasn't too difficult to wash off with warm water and a rag, and it left my face with the nice smooth feeling the others had. This mask is supposed to unclog pores, and I would say it worked somewhat well for that. It got rid of most of my clogged pores in my trouble area, but nowhere near as much as the red algae mask did. I'll definitely use this mask again in the future (especially on a hot summer day with how cool it makes your face feel.!) but I think it stands firm at a 4 out of 5 for me.

L'Oréal Paris Detox & Brighten Pure-Clay Mask

Rated: 4/5.!

Today I tried out the L'Oréal Paris Detox & Brighten Pure-Clay Mask from the trio of pure-clay masks I received for free from BzzAgent. I liked how tight and matte it dried, it felt similar to how a peel-off mask would dry.! It didn't have too terrible of a smell, though it definitely had a bit of a scent going to it. It felt cooling and tingly again, similar to the red algae mask did. Plus, I could see little spots in the dried mask where my pores were, so I take that as a good sign it was doing its job at detoxing my skin.! Taking it off was a little tough, but with warm water and a washcloth I got it off before too long. It left my skin feeling very smooth, and nice and tight.! I was impressed, and definitely want to use this one on my cheeks when I try multi-masking this weekend.! I gave it a 4 out of 5, because while I definitely liked my results, it didn't really wow me as much as the other one has so far.

L'Oréal Paris Exfoliate & Refine Pores Pure-Clay Mask

Rated: 5/5.!

Recently I received three free L'Oréal Paris Pure-Clay facial masks to try from BzzAgent, I was super excited to start trying these out and find some new go-tos for skin care. I decided to start my trial with the Red Algae Exfoliate & Refine mask, and I was not disappointed. I went with this one first because after a long weekend of hanging out outside by a bonfire, my face was definitely dirty and needed a good refresher.! Immediately after putting this mask on, it felt very cool and tingly on my skin. It went on easily, and dried nice and matte. It also didn't smell bad, though it does have a clay-ish scent to me. I didn't have a lot of trouble washing it off (I took mine off in the shower, which made it a lot easier) and it left my face feeling really smooth to the touch. When I got out and looked in the mirror, I was honestly shocked. My face looked great.! I usually have a ton of black heads and horribly clogged pores on my nose, and there was NONE after using this mask. It looked clean, smooth, and my pores were definitely smaller. I was amazed. I can't wait to try out the other masks now and add this into my skin care routine as a new regular.! It definitely earned a hard 5 stars in my book.

Neutrogena Light Therapy Acne Mask - 10 Day Check In

Hey guys.! Todays post will be a little different. Last month I was sent the Neutrogena Light Therapy Acne Mask from PinchMe to try out for free. It's a 30 day skin treatment that is supposed to help clear your skin up with 10 minute daily light therapy treatments. I wanted to do 3 posts for this, one at 10 days, one at 20, and then a full review at the end of the 30 days. My 10 and 20 day posts will mostly be "progress" trackers, with photos of my included, and some quick ideas of what I'm thinking so far.

A little bit about the product: It is chemical and UV free. The mask works by using blue lights to target acne causing bacteria, and using red lights to reduce acne inflammation. Each mask package includes a mask, and a 30 day activator. After you've used up your 30 days, you're supposed to toss that activator and buy another if you want to continue using the mask. Personally, this is incredibly wasteful and can be expensive, as each activator is about $15. You just wash your face as normal, and then use the mask for 10 minutes. It has an automatic shut off, so you're able to sit back and relax without worrying about keeping track of the time.

Left photo is one side of my face at the beginning of using the treatments, before ever using the mask
Right photo is the same side of my face 10 days in, a few hours after using the mask.

Left photo is, again, my face before using ever using the mask. Right is a few hours after using it for my 10th day.

My biggest problem area right now is my chin. Top photo is before I started mask treatments, and bottom was after my 10th day.

Honestly, I don't see major progress at all. But, It's also only been 10 days, so I hope it improves more soon. My fiance keeps saying my skin looks clearer, but honestly, it has only felt dry to me recently. So, we shall definitely see.

Bonus picture: How creepy this mask looks on when you're using.! haha
