Kaboom Disinfex 3-in-1 Bathroom Cleaner

Rated: 3/5.!

So a few weeks ago I received the Kaboom Disinfex 3-in-1 Bathroom Cleaner from Smiley360. I was super late to trying it out due to evacuating our house for 5 days for the hurricane earlier this month, but I finally broke the bottle out and put it to the test last night.! So, before I get into my review, I need to explain a little. We live in an older trailer that has VERY hard water. It covers everything with horrible water spots, has stained our tub terribly from the well water, and since it sat empty for a few years before we bought it, I've been fighting to get rid of these stains and some others caused by poor maintenance since the beginning. Due to this, our house looks filthy in my photos, which is really embarrassing.! If I could review this without including any, I probably would, but I don't feel like you'll get to see what effect this product had on our hard spots if I didn't. So please don't judge too harshly off the little bit you can see in photos. I promise my house is clean, lol.!

On to the review.. So, like I mentioned, I have really bad hard water spots all over my faucets. I figured the first place to really test this products ability then would be on the kitchen sink.!
It did really help cut down some of the hard water on the faucet, though it didn't do much for the sink itself. This was after only one use, leaving the product on for about 4 minutes. I plan to keep up using it to see if it'll really strip all of it off though, since it did get a good bit off on just one go.! I hoped for better results, but I should have lowered my expectations considering I know how hard this has been to get off in the past. No product is perfect so I know none will get this sparkling with just one use. I was happy knowing my sink was now disinfected though and I moved onto the bathroom.

The first thing I tried it on in my bathroom was our tub. Our tub is incredibly gross looking thanks to years of use and no real good cleanings. Even bleach doesn't get this tub sparkling, so I wasn't expecting this product to do anything for it either. It did good for a general clean up, but it didn't break down any of the stains or clear off any the badly built up soap scum there was, so no great results there. I was again happy knowing it was at least disinfected though. It didn't do much for the faucet either, but it's a really old faucet that I doubt ever saw much love in the past.  No pictures of this, because I forgot a close of up the faucet before using the spray, oops.!

It did wonders for my bathroom sink though, which is one of the newest pieces in our bathroom. It needed a general wipe down really bad before this, so excuse the ickyness in the photos, haha. I was really impressed with how well it cleaned the sink and how it shined after though.! I guess since this sink doesn't have nearly as much build up in it, the product got to really work its wonders in here. Even the faucet looked great and shiny. I was definitely happy with this result, despite being kind of unimpressed with the others.!

I also used this product to wipe down the outside of my toilet, and it really helped shine things up. I loved knowing it was disinfecting the nastiest part of any bathroom. Over all, I was happy with the clean and knowing it was killing 99.9% of germs on these commonly used surfaces. I just wish it had done a little more for my hard water spots, and that it was a more noticeable clean in the areas of my bathroom that have those build ups. Overall, I don't think this is a product I'd go out and buy regularly. But, I was happy with the results I got from this free bottle, and I will continue to use it to see if it helps with more time.

I received the reviewed product for free, in exchange for my complete honest opinion. I do not receive any profit from any links I include in this post, and all photos included are mine unless stated otherwise. Thanks.! :)
